Before you optimize
Is it included in my plan?
Yes. Fundrtester comes included in the Fundrbot bundle, at no extra cost.
Does it give the same result in TradingView?
Yes. The engine fills orders the same way TradingView does and uses the same prices. When you load the exported setting, TradingView shows the same result.
Why isn't TradingView's Strategy Tester enough?
The Strategy Tester runs one setting at a time, on the candles the chart loads. Fundrtester runs thousands at once over several years and tells you which ones hold up.
How many years of data does it use?
As many as you choose. The usual is to optimize over several years, so the setting goes through calm, trending and very volatile markets.
Does it help me pass a prop-firm challenge?
That is what it is built for. It applies FTMO, FundedNext, FundingPips, Topstep and Apex rules and tells you how often the setting would have passed. It is an estimate, not a guarantee.
Which markets can I test?
Forex, gold and other metals, indices such as US30 and NAS100, and crypto. Timeframes from 1 minute to 1 day.
