Risk notice

This is a translation for convenience. If there is any difference, the Spanish version prevails.

You can lose your money

Trading in financial markets with leverage carries a high risk and can result in the total loss of the capital you put at risk. Do not trade with money you cannot afford to lose.

1. What Fundrbot is and what it is not

Fundrbot is a technical analysis tool. It reads market data, applies the settings you choose and shows signals with entry, stop and target levels. Nothing more.

It is not, and you must not treat it as:

  • Investment advice, whether personalized or general.
  • A recommendation to buy or sell any instrument.
  • Portfolio management or management of your money.
  • A promise, guarantee or projection of profitability.

We are not brokerage agents, stock brokerage firms or entities supervised by the Superintendency of the Securities Market (SMV) or the Superintendency of Banking, Insurance and Private Pension Funds (SBS), and we do not offer services that require such authorization.

2. The decisions are yours

A signal is information, not an order. You are the one who decides whether to open a position, with how much capital, with what leverage and when to close it. Every gain or loss resulting from those decisions is yours. Configuring the indicator one way or another completely changes what you will see on screen, and you choose that configuration too.

3. About historical results and backtests

Past results do not predict future results. It is the most repeated phrase in the industry and also the truest.

A backtest runs on data that is already known and under ideal conditions: it does not include real slippage, spreads that widen at times of volatility, changing commissions, or the fact that your order is not always filled at the price you saw. A historical results curve describes what would have happened, not what is going to happen.

4. Specific risks worth keeping in mind

  • Leverage. It multiplies gains and losses equally. A small move against you can liquidate the position.
  • Volatility and price gaps. The market can jump past your stop loss and fill it worse than expected, especially at market opens and around news.
  • Technical failures. Outages at TradingView, your broker, your connection or the channels through which alerts arrive can cause a signal not to reach you or an order not to be executed.
  • Automated execution. If you connect the execution tunnel, orders are sent without any review on your part. Check the risk settings of each account before enabling it.
  • Prop firm accounts. Each firm has its own rules on daily loss, total loss and trading hours. Complying with them is your responsibility; the indicator does not know your firm's rules.

5. No guarantee of results

We do not guarantee profitability, a win rate, a number of trades, passing a prop firm challenge or recovering what you paid for the license. Any testimonial or figure we publish describes the experience of a specific person at a specific time and does not predict yours.

6. Before you start

Consider consulting an authorized financial advisor who knows your financial situation, your obligations and your risk tolerance. If you are new to trading, practice on a demo account until you understand what the tool does and what you do.
